Impressive depth of colour featuring an inky black core and a dark red black tinged hue. Elevated aromas of freshly crushed blackberries, plum and liquorice meld with subtle inky earth and spice notes. Rich, juicy freshly crushed ripe dark berry and liquorice fruits flood the mouth and are backed by some bright acidity and slightly chalky tannins which firm up the finish a touch. Excellent concentration with a plush mid palate feel, some inky earth and spice elements also evident on the lingering aftertaste. One of the most impressive Preservative Free wines we’ve tasted.
