2019 Meltwater Pinot Noir

Includes 10% whole bunch fruit with maturation taking place in 2-3 year old French oak barrels. Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals a bouquet of violets, dark cherries, plum and anise followed by earthy dried herb and spicy cedar notes. Light in body but generously flavoured the palate sports spicy dark cherry, plum and anise fruits over a back drop of toasty cedar, forest floor and dried herbs. Meaty like mouth feel with slightly grainy tannins providing good structure. Concludes with a savoury mid length finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
