2019 Marc Rougeot-Dupin Bourgogne Chardonnay

Bright pale straw to straw colour with a watery hue. Scents of white peach and dried honey have a wet stone overlay with hints of citrus and light spice also present. Well endowed with rich white peach, dried honey and ripe nectarines, the palate shows plenty of flesh and textural appeal. Subtle citrusy nougat, light cashew and stony characters lie underneath. Nicely balanced acidity. The long generous and well rounded aftertaste picking up accents of crème brulee. High end Bourgogne here.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
