Other Reviews....
There is a touch of rosemary oil to the aromas of mostly poached pear and citrus along with a hint of lavender. There is again fine volume and richness to the medium weight flavors that possess very good mid-palate density thanks to the abundant dry extract that imparts a sappy texture and a subtle sweetness to the lingering finish. This lovely effort is a combination of richness with refinement. Drink 2027+.

Open and charming, Colin's 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chenevottes mingles aromas of ripe Anjou pear and yellow apple with hints of stone fruit, white flowers and buttery pastry. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and nicely defined, its gourmand core of fruit is underpinned by lively acids.

The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chenevottes 1er Cru has a crisp and precise bouquet with crushed rock and subtle marine scents developing in the glass, later a hint of lemon curd. The palate is very well balanced with a dab of white chocolate and hazelnut on the entry, good depth on the mid-palate with an entrancing finish that just misses the persistent aftertaste compared to Colin’s other three Chassagnes. Still, should age with style. Drink 2022 - 2037.

Pale lemon, a lightness of touch, even a delicacy on the nose, fills out a bit more with sweet fruit behind. Medium bodied, slightly saline, touch of acidity.
