Matured in French oak for 8 months. Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Spicy dark cherry and plum scents meet up with some liquorice followed by dried herb and subtle spicy earth notes. Medium bodied with juicy cherry, dark plum and liquorice fruits to the fore, notions of spicy vanillin cedar and dried herbs then ensue. Concludes with polished tannins, good freshness and a medium length aftertaste.
