Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine mix with citrusy grapefruit like scents followed by gun flint and light biscuity oak notes. Mid weighted ripe nectarine and grapefruit flavours overlay dried honey, citrusy nougat, biscuity oak and subtle infusions of gun flint. Fleshy feel with vibrant underlying acidity and a long cream tinged yet fresh aftertaste.

Other Reviews....
Fruit from Tamar Valley growers. Sophisticated Tasmanian chardonnay, confidently uniting the struck-flint complexity of fermentation with classy French oak cashew nut notes and the cool tension of lemon and white peach. The creamy texture of barrel work harmonises with crystalline acidity, well-married to fruit concentration and body. It holds every detail through an enduring finish. Drink by 2029.
