2019 Lone Star Creek Vineyard Pinot Gris

Matured on lees in used French barriques. Bright straw colour with apricot tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of fresh pears, green apple skin, faint dried honey and light quince drift out of the glass. Full and textured, intense pear and red apple fruits engulf the mouth over subtle notions of dried honey, quince and spice. Finishes dry with a burst of fresh acidity. Superb balance and depth with a long, very powerful aftertaste. A first class Pinot Gris that gives you plenty of bang for your buck.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
