Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherry and ripe strawberry have a fresh herb overlay with some forest floor, subtle stalk and spicy oak notes also evident. Ripe and fleshy in its feel, dark cherry and ripe strawberry fruits are to the fore with notions of earth, stalky cedar and spice ensuing. Slightly dryish tannins have a grainy feel. Nicely balanced acidity concluding with medium length.
