2019 Lawson's Dry Hills Gewurztraminer

This delicious, intensely flavoured Gewurztraminer was sourced predominately from Lawson’s Home Block vineyard which was planted in 1981. The 2019 harvest was a dream with moderate crops after a lovely warm spring and summer.
Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Soaring out of the glass are intense aromas of rosewater, lychee and citrus followed by some musk and ginger spice notes. Rich and lusciously textured the palate delivers an explosion of lychee, pear and Turkish delight flavours over a back drop of spicy musk and ginger. Dry to off dry finish with vivid citrus like acidity, concluding with a powerful and highly moreish aftertaste.
