Other Reviews....
A riper and less elegant but more complex nose combines notes of black raspberry, cassis, Asian-style tea and a plethora of exotic spice nuances, especially star anise and hoisin. There is excellent mid-palate density to the suave but relatively powerful medium weight plus flavors that possess a highly attractive texture, all wrapped in a caressing, velvety and strikingly long finale where the only nit is a touch of warmth. This too is terrific, and it should be a knockout in time though it could likely be approached after only 7 to 8 years of keeping. Drink 2034+.

Lavish and enveloping, the 2019 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots offers up inviting aromas of plums, raspberries, sweet spices, rich soil tones and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, layered and textural, it's concentrated and gourmand, with lively acids and a long, expansive finish.

The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru was quite broody on the nose, not as cohesive or as vigorous as the Les Beaumonts. The palate is medium-bodied with a firm structure, more savory than the Les Beaumonts, earthier but just tapering a little toward the finish. Compared to the Malconsorts, this left me wanting more. Drink 2023 - 2038.

Really dense dark purple follows the pattern of the Hudelot-Noëllat cellar in 2019, while the bouquet adds a level of brilliance. There is a suavity to the texture too, with an immense weight of fruit, but still maintaining a leaner backbone and great persistence. The acidity is concentrated too. This wine needs more time in barrel to finish coming together, but it has exceptional potential.
