Other Reviews....
A very Meursault nose combines notes of ripe white and yellow orchard fruit with those of acacia blossom and grilled hazelnut. The extremely rich and very generously proportioned flavors possess a plump and round mouthfeel while the lingering and slightly warm finish is shaped by lemon-tinged acidity. This forward effort should drink well almost immediately. Drink 2022+.

Aromas of pear, yellow orchard fruit, white flowers and buttered toast introduce the 2019 Meursault Clos des Ecoles, a medium-bodied, open and lively wine that's fleshy and enveloping. Open and demonstrative, this will drink well young. Drink 2020 - 2035.

The 2019 Meursault Clos des École had been fined two weeks prior to my visit, and was due for bottling before the end of 2020. It has a simple, green apple and grapefruit bouquet that felt a little subdued when I tasted it. The palate is livelier, displaying a pleasant bitter edge and decent length, but I cannot help thinking that this is destined for drinking within four or five years, no longer. Drink 2021 - 2025.

Racked and prepared for bottling. A delightful bouquet after the pale primrose colour, really very vibrant but still with good weight, warmth to finish. Charming floral style but with weight behind. Lemon notes alongside fresh plum fruit.
