Totally opaque midnight black core with a deep bright dark red purple hue. Fragrant blackberry, blueberry and liquorice scents blossom out of the glass followed by subtle dried herb, vanillin cedar and spicy fennel notes. Medium bodied, there’s ample richness to the blackberry, blueberry and liquorice fruits which show good flesh. Very refined in its feel, elements of spicy vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered herbs follow up on the back half. Sturdy yet polished tannin structure with a youthful freshness and a long aftertaste that has flashes of elegance to it.
