2019 Happs Cabernet Merlot

Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of red currant infused with a mix of black olive and tobacco leaf are followed by some dusty cedar and spicy capsicum like notes. Medium bodied the palate is elegantly flavoured with red currant and mulberries which meld into earthy tobacco, spicy black olive and green herb characters. Hard edgy finish with slightly chalky tannins and a modest aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
