Matured for 9 months in 39% new French oak. Very deep dark red black core with a bright purple red hue. Alluring and perfumed the nose is flooded with violet, ripe dark cherry, plum and anise aromas with notions of wild strawberry, vanillin cedar, earth and spice also chiming in. Making a silky entry onto the palate are energetic red to dark cherry, plum, winter strawberry and red liquorice fruits. Lively fresh acidity underpins the fruit with delicate vanillin cedar and spicy earth nuances sitting on the back half. Polished yet nicely structured tannins concluding bright, focused and refined.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews….
A vibrant red that's multilayered with raspberry and tart cherry flavors that are accented by crushed stone and dusky spice notes, building tension toward medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2030.
