Semi translucent bright red core with a light red hue. Fragrant violet, red to dark cherry and winter strawberry scents sail through the olfactory senses with subtle dried herb, forest floor, game and spicy cedar notes ensuing. Supple and light, the deliciously savoury palate is redolent in juicy red cherry and strawberry fruits which are delivered with both elegance and power. Notions of forest floor, infusions of fresh herbs and spicy cedar add complexity on the back half. Finishes with a beautifully balanced freshness, silky yet structured tannins and a long refined aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 13%

Other Reviews….
Yes, this is unequivocally Yarra Valley, but it is far more distinctive of Gembrook Hill. It's the prettiness, the aromatic allure, the seemingly gentle palate, yet tannins are silky, the acidity just-so, with every element on the same wavelength. Just as Van Morrison sang: ‘Wavelength. You never let me down, ah no.'
