2019 First Drop Wines Two Percent Barossa Shiraz

Magnificent colour featuring an inky black core and a very deep dark purple black hue. Wafting out of the glass are heady dark plum, liquorice and blackberry scents which are married to vanillin cedar, fennel and spicy pepper notes. Full and rich yet tinged with a blueberry like freshness are bold flavours of dark plum, liquorice and blackberry which have a succulent feel. Fennel, spicy vanillin cedar and pepper then chime in on the finish. Excellent power with velvety yet structural tannins and a long sumptuous aftertaste that has a fresh edge to it.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
