2019 Farr Rising Shiraz

Matured in French oak, 10% new, for a period of 18 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright purple red hue. Elevated spicy dark plum, red liquorice and clove aromas mingle with lightly smoked vanillin cedar, hints of meatiness and distinct pepper notes. Medium bodied, elegant and savoury the palate has a smattering of red fruits flowing across it that include plum, liquorice and raspberry. Notions of clove, light earth, spicy cedar and peppered meats are also present. Fresh finish with fine grained yet well structured tannins and a refined medium length aftertaste.
