2019 Emilian L'Assemblage Rouge

A blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Syrah. Deep dark red black core with a dark purple hue. Nosing offers up lifted plum, rhubarb and red liquorice scents which intermix with clove, fennel and spicy incense notes. Light in weight with a fleshy mid palate feel, spicy plum and red liquorice flavours mix with earthy fennel, clove and subtle infusions of incense. Slightly dryish finish with fresh acidity and a touch chalky tannins. Concludes with a savoury medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
