2019 Elgee Park Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak for 10 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. A bouquet of violets intermeshed with dark cherries and strawberries rises from the glass with ample intensity. Forest floor, vanillin cedar, fresh herb and spice notes ensue. Delicious red to dark cherry and winter strawberry fruits are layered across the palate, underscored by meaty forest floor like characters, infusions of fresh herbs and spicy cedar. Silky yet fresh in its feel with polished tannins and a long savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
