2019 Eisenstone Roennfeldt Vineyard SV904 Marananga Shiraz

Aged in 50% new French oak for 18 months. Dense inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Wafting through the nostrils are intense aromatics of blackberry, dark plum and liquorice followed by some spicy vanillin cedar and earthy dark chocolate like notes. Rich, concentrated and full yet beautifully poised the palate is swamped with opulent blackberry, dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours. Spicy vanillin oak, earth and subtle pepper elements lie underneath. Showing a refined touch it possesses superb power and velvety tannins. Concludes long and seductive.
Drink over the next 8-10 years.
