2019 Dominique Portet Fontaine Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. White peach and nectarine scents meld into light dried honey, biscuity oak and subtle notions of gun flint. White peach and nectarine fruits show good flesh across the mid weighted palate. Subtle dried honey, citrusy nougat characters and subtle inflections of gun flint lie underneath. Finishes dry with plenty of fresh acidity and an expressive aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
