2019 Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron Nuits-St.-Georges Aux Boudots Premier Cru
Other Reviews....
Initially there is a touch of reduction though some aggressive swirling progressively helps to reveal aromas of spiced plum, dark berries and a hint of underbrush. There is both better volume and density along with a more refined texture to the succulent and suave medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a serious, youthfully austere and impressively persistent finish. This is excellent and packed with upside aging potential. Drink from 2031+.

Mid purple, with a no more intense but slightly more refined bouquet. There is a delicious sweetness of deep raspberry fruit, stretches well across the middle, very pure, which shows the class of the vineyard without quite matching the character of the Confuron Chaboeufs.
