Here the nose is moderately reduced so be sure to give this some air if you're going to try a bottle young. Otherwise, there is better volume and an attractive texture to the delicious, succulent and punchy medium-bodied flavors that possess slightly better complexity and persistence on the balanced if mildly rustic finale. Allen Meadows - Burghound

Tasted from barrel, unracked, so rather reduced. This soon blows off. 30% whole bunch vinification. Another imperial purple and a robust but very intense bouquet. Inky depths here, this is a pretty intense wine with sucrous raspberry fruit and excellent length.
