The reputation of Domaine Confuron-Gindre is slowly spreading around the world now that they have starting allowing sales outside of private clients and a select few distributors in Europe. François Confuron-Gindre created the domaine in 1989 with his wife Claudine, and he has now been joined by their son Edouard, who has begun to refine the wines while continuing their structural and age worthy style.

20% whole bunch vinification. Deepish purple, rather solid chunky nose, wait and see. Solid and inky with a few tannins behind. Rustic stuff, though with very good intensity.
