2019 Domaine Bruno Colin Chassagne-Montrachet En Remilly Premier Cru
Pure, airy and elegant aromas are comprised by freshly sliced lime, poached pear and acacia blossom. The much more refined flavors flash excellent, indeed almost painful, intensity along with evident minerality on the focused, concentrated and remarkably persistent finish that is noticeably firmer. This is a first-rate example of En Remilly and appears to be very, very promising. Drink 2029+.
Allen Meadows - Burghound
Cheerful light yellow with a green tint. This has a classy chiselled bouquet, making a delicious mouthful with sunny yellow fruit, much less overtly powerful than Philippe Colin’s version, but very classy and charming. The difference in style may reflect the relative positions on the slope of the two plots. A hint of sucrosity perhaps on the palate. Very good wine.
