2019 Domaine Bachelet-Monnot Bourgogne Rouge
Other Reviews....
An intensely earthy nose reveals notes of both red and dark berries along with a hint of forest floor. The lilting, delicious and nicely energetic flavors possess reasonably good richness along with acceptable persistence on the bitter cherry pit-inflected finish where a hint of rusticity slowly emerges. Drink 2023+.

Allen Meadows - Burghound
Bursting with aromas of red berries, petals and orange rind, the 2019 Bourgogne Rouge is medium-bodied, lively and perfumed, with melting tannins and a saline finish. As usual, it's a blend of fruit from Puligny-Montrachet, Maranges and the Hautes-Côtes. Drink 2021 - 2031.

William Kelley - Wine Advocate (July 2021)
The 2019 Bourgogne Rouge, which contains 30% whole bunch and has a delightful redcurrant and cranberry scented bouquet. The palate is well balanced with crunchy red fruit, fine acidity with just the right amount of sapidity on the finish. Excellent. Drink 2021 - 2025.
