2019 Credaro Kinship Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Elevated blackcurrant and mulberry scents are married to cigar box, hints of earth, black olive and spicy bay leaf. Rich blackcurrant and mulberry fruits are carried across the mid weighted palate with a sense of elegance. Notions of cigar box, earthy black olive characters and spicy bay leaf lie underneath. Fine well constructed tannin framework with a long refined conclusion.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.

A blend of 3 clones, machine harvested and destemmed. Whole-berry fruit spends up to 18 days in skins, then pressed to tank and matured for 16 months in oak (30% new). The tannins are the highlight here – the ripe fruit is ensconced by chalky brick-dust tannins, which shape the wine as it moves through the lingering finish. Brilliant value for money, the structure is key. Impressive. Drink by 2030.
