2019 Craiglee JADV Shiraz

Totally opaque dark red black colour with a vibrant dark red hue. Expressive red liquorice and red plum aromas infused with graphite and pepper are followed by some meaty notes. Light to medium bodied, savoury red liquorice and plum fruits are underscored by energetic acidity and fine graphite like tannins. Scorched earth, infusions of fresh herbs and peppered meats linger on the elegant finish.
Cellar 5-6 years.

There’s such beautiful texture and a feel to Craiglee shiraz, even this with just a dash of viognier (aka JADV). It remains savoury yet plush with juicy fruit, succulence and such plump tannins. The finish lingers as does the desire to pour another glass, quickly. Drink by 2033.
