A portion of this wine was matured in seasoned French oak barriques for 7 months. Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges. Aromas of fresh pear, Jonathan apple, citrus, quince and spice escape from the glass. Light and energetic, the palate is decorated with vibrant pear and quince fruits which are trailed by citrus and subtle Jonathan apple. Finishes dry with a dash of spice and crisp acidity. Light, refreshing quince like aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Alc. 12.6%

Other Reviews….
It's gently spiced with pepper and cinnamon quills. It's floral with some fresh herbs, poached apple, bees wax and refreshing lemon barley water flavours. The palate is altogether racier, almost riesling-like acidity keeping this long and pure with the right amount of phenolics adding that extra layer. Drink by 2028.
