Aged in small French and American oak barrels for 15 months. Very deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Elevated spicy dark plum and liquorice aromas are interwoven with vanillin cedar, hints of dark chocolate, fennel, smoked meat and peppered herb notes. Rich and velvety on entry the medium to full bodied palate is generously endowed with plush spicy dark plum and liquorice fruits which overlay a smoky vanillin cedar, fennel, dried meat and peppered herb back drop. Silky smooth tannins with a long opulent yet refined conclusion.
