2019 Clarence House Estate Chardonnay

Bright pale straw to straw colour with greenish tinged edges and watery hue. Pronounced ripe nectarine, peach and dried honey aromas meld into a mix of biscuity oak, cashew and spice notes. From the warmer 2019 vintage this Chardonnay shows immediate ripe upfront fruit intensity with rich peach, dried honey and cashew flavours possessing a round, creamy like feel. Biscuity oak, subtle crème brulee and spice characters lie underneath. Finishes with a nicely judged lick of freshness and a long generously textured aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
