2019 Chateau Tanunda Terroirs of the Barossa Ebenezer District Shiraz

Aged for 18 months in oak barrels. Pitch black in colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Lofty ripe black cherry and liquorice scents are followed by some blackberry, smoky vanillin cedar and peppered earth notes. Rich, lush dark plum, liquorice and black cherry fruits are layered across the weighty palate with vanillin cedar, scorched earth and peppered meat characters lying underneath. Opulently textured it has a sturdy tannin structure which firms up the finish a touch. Long, deeply fruited, blackpepper laced conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
