2019 Chateau Routas Rose

Produced from a blend of 46% Cinsault, 30% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 9% Cabernet Sauvignon. Pale salmon pink colour with a watery hue. A fragrant mix of peach, raspberry and strawberry fruits blossom out of the glass intermingling with musk and wet stone notes along the way. Supple and round in the mouth, delicious flavours of peach, raspberry and strawberry infused with musk show terrific intensity as they slip across the palate. Finishes dry with plenty of refreshing acidity, a delicate stoniness making an appearance on the long beautifully textured aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.

Peach, strawberry, redcurrant, talc. Fresh. Soft and nicely weighted, with a little blood orange tang in the mix. Crisp, but not too crisp, with a good long finish. Balanced. Typical and very good. All round nice wine. Drink 2020-2022.
