Château Petit Védrines is the second wine of the Barsac cru classé, Château Doisy Védrines sourced from less concentrated pickings on the main estate plus six hectares of vines that were bought in 2001 from neighbouring Château Bouyot.
Bright straw core with yellow gold tinged edges. Seductive aromas of honeyed peaches and apricot engulf the olfactory senses with hints of marmalade, toffee and spice also chiming in. Luscious yet fresh and finessed, the palate is decorated with peach and honeyed apricot flavours. Marmalade, pineapple and delicate spice elements linger around the back half. Elegant, honey drenched finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
