Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Expressive ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas lead the way with some scorched earth, black olive and toasty cedar notes also chiming in. Mid weighted flavours of red to black currant carry an elegant feel with a tug of earth, subtle cigar box and spicy black olive characters lingering through the back half. Fine, slightly chalky tannin structure with a refined mid length finish.
