2019 Chalmers Vermentino

Chalmers produced Australia’s first Vermentino wine in 2004 and it’s since become their trademark ‘go-to’ white. Crisp and refreshing it’s perfect for the Australian al fresco lifestyle.

Brilliant water like colour with a faint tinge of green to the edges. Nosing reveals green apple and lime aromas with infusions of fresh herbs and a subtle flinty mineral element ensuing. Racy yet quite well rounded on the mid palate, flavours of lime and pear laced with fresh herbs sit over a flinty stone back drop. Dry crisp finish with a medium to long conclusion that has an engaging minerality to it.
