2019 Bud Burst GSM
A blend of 46% Grenache, 44% Shiraz and 10% Mataro sourced from low yielding Barossa Valley vineyards. Each variety was fermented separately and then matured in a combination of new and seasoned oak hogsheads. Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Elevated dark plum, raspberry and liquorice aromas intermingle with dark chocolate and vanillin spice. Rich dark raspberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits have a plush feel with notions of earthy dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak lying underneath. Good depth and power with velvety tannins and a long opulent conclusion.
