Black as night core with a deep dark red black hue. Ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice scents sail out of the glass followed by subtlety smoked vanillin cedar, fennel and pepper notes. Plump and rich, the palate is bursting with intense dark plum, blackberry and liquorice fruits which have an opulent textural feel. Vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered dried herb characters flow onto the back half. Silky smooth tannins weave their way across the fruit. Excellent power with a long ripe seductive aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
