2019 Brash Higgins Omensetter SHZ Shiraz

Certified organic and matured in French oak hogsheads for 20 months. Dense inky black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Intense dark plum, blackberry and liquorice aromas leap out of the glass followed by lightly smoked vanillin cedar, dried herbs and peppered meat notes. Full bodied, the palate is rich and plush on entry with blackberry, liquorice and bright blueberry fruits underpinned by vibrant acidity. Infusions of dried herbs, earthy vanillin cedar and peppered meat characters lurk underneath. Sturdy yet well integrated tannin structure with a vivid dark fruited aftertaste that sees the emergence of new leather.
