2019 Brand’s Laira Blockers Shiraz

Matured for 18 months in a combination of used French, American and Hungarian oak barrels.
Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Elevated liquorice, dark plum and black cherry scents rise out of the glass followed by vanillin cedar, scorched earth and pepper notes. Bold and rich, the full bodied palate is decorated with mouth filling black cherry and liquorice fruits which meld into vanillin oak, scorched earth and blackpepper characters. Ripe, slightly chewy tannins finishing with a medium length black fruit loaded aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
