2019 Bodegas Cota 45 Ube Miraflores

Made in a ‘sherry-like’ style from Palomino grapes, this wine ages under flor but is not fortified, with a focus of fruit character. Aged for 8 months in old sherry oak barrels. Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Pronounced pear and dried apple scents mix with nutty bees wax like notes and cinnamon spice. Very dry yet textural, the palate has a Manzanilla sherry like flavour profile of pear and citrus over hazelnut, flor lees and spice. Saline finish with bright acidity and a lingering dried nut aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
