Bottle
$203.88 Dozen
Cellar: Drink now - 5 Years (2021-2026)
ABV: 14%

This deliciously fresh, juicy Malbec was matured for 9 months in a mixture new (10%) and seasoned French oak puncheons and hogsheads for 10 months. Midnight black at its core with a bright dark purple rim. Fragrant violet, ripe blueberry and dark cherry scents intermingle with hints of red liquorice, vanillin cedar and fresh herbs. On the palate juicy ripe cherry, blueberry and liquorice fruits meld into inky earth, dried herb and spicy vanillin cedar elements. Supple yet fresh in its feel with polished tannins and a long delicious blue fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews….
Bleasdale can't put a foot wrong with malbec at whatever price point it chooses. This is flooded with plum varietal fruit, but also has the texture and back-palate structure that many malbecs miss out on. Winemaker Paul Hotker is a wiz. Drink by 2027.
