2019 Bird in Hand Shiraz

Midnight black in colour with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Showing ample lift out of the glass are aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice and plum which meld into subtle vanillin cedar and peppered herb notes. Rich blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruits drive the medium to full bodied palate with smoky vanillin cedar, subtle fennel and black pepper the back drop. Fleshy and concentrated with a polished yet nicely structured tannin framework, the long pepper infused finish combining freshness with intensity.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
