Other Reviews....
A mentholated top note is present on the more restrained nose of red berries, underbrush and a touch of humus. The delicious medium weight flavors possess a relatively supple mid-palate that immediately tightens up on the youthfully austere and moderately rustic finish that flashes outstanding depth and persistence for a villages level wine. This built-to-age effort is excellent. Drink 2029+.

The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Village reveals appealing aromas of red berries, plums, spices and loamy soil, followed by a medium-bodied palate with lively acids but rather chewy, somewhat rustic tannins on this showing. Perhaps it was just out of sorts when I tasted it. Drink 2021 - 2035.

62 barrels of which the component in new barrels has been racked. Heady and delicious, yet very well balanced, so lively, good natural acidity, fruit at optimum ripeness, light on its feet and very long. Frankly, this is a brilliant cuvée and there is plenty of it!
