Matured in French oak. Dense black as night heart with a deep dark red black hue. Lifted dark plum and aniseed aromas mix with toasty vanillin oak, scorched earth and pepper. Medium to full in body, fleshy spiced dark plum and liquorice flavours are interwoven with toasty vanillin oak and peppered earth characters. Dry, slightly grainy tannins with a generously fruited yet toasty oak laden conclusion.
