2019 Balgownie Estate Yarra Valley Pinot Noir

Aged in French oak barriques and puncheons for 9 months. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Lifted ripe dark cherry, dark plum and anise aromas meld into subtle forest floor, dried herb and spicy cedar notes. Mid weighted the palate has a generous flavour profile of ripe dark cherries, rhurbarb and delicate anise over forest floor and spicy dried herbs. Fine grained tannins with a medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
