Deep dark red core with black shaded edges and a red hue. Heady black raspberry and liquorice scents sail from the glass trailed by old vanillin oak, earth and spicy pepper notes. Mid weighted ripe and juicy with dark to black raspberry and liquorice fruits underpinned by a distinct earthiness. Notions of vanillin oak also chime in on the spicy finish. Polished yet sturdy tannin structure with a medium to long opulently textured aftertaste.
