2018 Yering Station Pinot Noir

Matured in 500 litre French oak puncheons for 11 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Lightly perfumed aromatics of violets, dark cherries and strawberries are featured on the fragrant nose with subtle anise, some meatiness, forest floor and spicy cedar also evident. Light in body with a supple feel the palate is decorated with generous ripe dark cherry and strawberry flavours which are interwoven with subtle anise, traces of game, forest floor and spicy cedar. Silky smooth tannins finishing with good power on the lengthy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
