Cellar: Drink now - 3 Years (2021-2024)

Fermented and matured in French oak for 11 months. Bright pale straw colour with highlights of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Ripe pear, nectarine and subtle dried honey scents meld into biscuity oak and gun flint notes. Medium bodied, the elegant palate has flavours of pear and nectarine fruit over citrusy dried honey characters, toast and spice. Dry well rounded finish with balanced acidity and some lingering oily toast like characters on the aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 12.5%

Other Reviews….
Tightly coiled, just hinting at how this might unfurl in time. A savouriness overall, yet hints of lemon balm, grapefruit, flinty with perky acidity, so this is quite moreish. Oak adds an extra dimension and is seamlessly integrated. Drink by 2028.
