Semi translucent dark cherry red colour with a fading red hue. Delightful aromatics of ripe red cherries, wild strawberries and hints of violet blossom from the glass followed by some anise, meaty notes, forest floor and spice. Light in body the palate is littered with fresh red cherry and wild strawberry fruits which meld anise, forest floor and spicy cedar elements. Silky tannins with bright acidity lending plenty of freshness to a lively red fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews….
As with the rest of the range, this mid-weighted pinot was fermented wild. Red cherry, raspberry and plum. A portion of whole bunch in the mix, imparting a spicy brood of forested scents, turmeric and sandalwood. Plenty of snap to the tannins, lithe but firm. This should fill out nicely with a little patience. Drink by 2026.
